Frequently Asked Questions

Learn more about Franchise Reserve, our process, and how the network works.

What is Franchise Reserve?

Franchise Reserve is a private, approval-based network that connects verified franchisors with qualified investors, franchisees, and multi-unit operators through curated matching and admin oversight.

Who can apply to Franchise Reserve?

Franchisors (brand owners or master franchise holders), investors (capital-backed individuals or groups), franchisees (qualified individuals seeking to own and operate), and multi-unit operators (experienced teams managing multiple locations).

What is the application process?

Apply online with your role, complete your profile with required information, upload supporting documents, and submit for review. Our team verifies your credentials and either approves, requests more information, or denies access based on network fit and quality standards.

How long does approval take?

Standard review time is 5-10 business days. Complex applications or additional verification may take longer. We will notify you of any delays or requests for additional information.

What if my application is rejected?

We provide feedback on rejection reasons when possible. You may reapply after 90 days with improved or updated information if the rejection was due to incomplete profiles or missing documentation.

Is there a public member directory or listing page?

No. Franchise Reserve maintains member privacy. Approved members only see vetted profiles of other active members within their dashboard, and only after full activation.

Can I browse all members before I am approved?

No. Full member access is only available after your application is approved, commercial terms are finalized, and your account is activated. This ensures the network remains genuinely exclusive.

What does membership cost?

Pricing is not public. After approval, our team will privately share membership options and pricing tailored to your profile and role. Franchisors typically pay higher membership tiers than other member types.

How does the matching algorithm work?

We use a semi-automated scoring system that evaluates sector fit (20%), geography fit (20%), investment range alignment (20%), expansion readiness (10%), operator capability (10%), timeline alignment (10%), and strategic fit (10%). Admin team reviews and overrides matches as needed.

Can the admin introduce matches manually?

Yes. Our team can manually suppress, pin, or introduce specific matches outside the algorithm based on qualitative assessment and relationship management priorities.
